In 2015, Silicon Valley start-ups began wooing Satish, and he joined Moxtra, the brainchild of former Webex CEO, Subrah Iyar. He secured the first multi-million dollar opportunity for the 3 year old company and over the next 2.5 years, he closed 31 partners and direct sales deals. Then, it was time to foray into the emerging technology: Satish moved to ScoreData Corporation, where he had previously served as advisor, now taking on the role of Vice President of Business Development. Here, his acumen led to investor, lead and strategic partner introductions, culminating in some of the first revenue-generating deals in the contact center space for the company.

Satish began his career at Bell Labs, the research arm of Lucent Technologies, after completing a Masters in Computer Science from Michigan State University. When Lucent spun-off Avaya, Satish took on a number of sales and service leadership roles. In 2004, he set out on an expat assignment to Asia, working out of Singapore and Thailand. Here, he built and led a regional team, and collaborated with over 120 regional channel partners. Enterprising, tech-savvy and affable, Satish realized 22% growth on a $55 million regional business.

Upon returning to the United States, he was accepted into the MBA program at Columbia Business School with full financial sponsorship from Avaya. Balancing academics with bigger executive roles, Satish relished the opportunity to work with Avaya’s biggest channel partners based out of the US NorthEast and was instrumental in creating substantial value for some of the world’s largest financial companies. In 2013, Avaya moved its headquarters to the Bay Area, and Satish’s increasing involvement in executive decision-making made it necessary for him to relocate to the diverse metropolitan region.

While at ScoreData, Satish was approached by Blue Prism, an enterprise robotic process automation software leader, to grow their Premier Technology Partnerships across the Americas. He currently has his hands full with exciting challenges at Blue Prism, while managing to make time for the things he loves most outside of his professional life. When he’s not at strategic boardroom meets, Satish is on his feet, clocking pretty good marathon finishing times. A seasoned long-distance runner who has completed over ten marathons, Satish is a member of the exclusive “7 Continent Club” – a group of long-distance runners who have run at least one marathon across each of the seven continents, including Antarctica.

Grateful for the chance to visit over 40 countries on work, Satish has learned immensely from his interactions with people and businesses of all sizes and across various cultures. His international experience has informed and solidified his areas of expertise: leveraging channel partnerships – primarily Value-Added Resellers (VARs), System Integrators, Service Providers (SI/SPs) and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) – and made him the go-to guy for big-picture perspectives and reliable guidance on channel sales. 

On the personal front, Satish is a family man who enjoys traveling, engaging in fitness-related activities, and public speaking, a passion he has put to good use as a Distinguished Toastmaster. True to his reputation, Satish helped his assigned area in Toastmasters grow its membership, and visited five continents on public speaking assignments.

To recognize his achievements, Toastmasters awarded him the Best Area Director of the Year for his tireless service to the district with 150 clubs and nearly 3500 members. Satish is an investor in multiple promising startups, and has served on advisory boards of several companies including ScoreData, YourTakeways, Audvisor and many more.
