They say the most credible leaders are readers. Reading to me opens up my world to new insights and many “aha” moments. Besides the joy of immersing oneself in the act of reading itself, every time I read, I feel that I learn more and the more I learn, the more I have to contribute to the world around me and hopefully make it a better place than how I found it.
If you are like me, then you might even wish that there was more time in the day to catch up on your reading. But what I have learned is that there is never enough time and reading like most things needs to be prioritized. To help those who might be looking for a quick summary of a book before they decide to dive into a book, I decided to share what I have learned from a book with a “What I am Reading” post so that it helps you.
Here are some quick summaries of the books I have read recently. What’s your favorite read? Please share in the comments below:
Atomic Habits – one of the best books on impacting productivity through habits.
Upstream – How to think more “upstream” to be a better leader
Hero on a Mission – A great book on knowing thyself as a leader
